Successful professionals get appointment to the Counselect panel. The appointment to the panel is non-remunerative. Only panel lawyers get remunerative project assignments.
Post appointment to the panel, the Counselect team will synchronise profiles with available projects. Prospective projects are discussed and consent sought from the member as well as the client organisation. Discussion details include detailed scope of work, estimation of time spent and remuneration. Successful discussion leads to project assignment.
Once the project assignment is agreed, a briefing session is organised to complete documentation formalities and discuss the details of the assignment, communication flow, rules, on-going support from Counselect and best practices.
Secondment to client organisation commences. The client organisation and Counselect team will ensure a smooth induction into the project.
The compensation for the engagement is affected through Counselect. It also includes reimbursement of out-of-pocket and other agreed expenses.
